Bowman Draft Baseball is a love-it-or-ignore-it type of product.
Prospectors love it because this is the first chance to get autographs and low-numbered cards of the latest draft picks.
These players can either become studs or duds, but their future has never looked so promising.
With 2024 Bowman Draft Baseball hitting stores today, many collectors are looking through dozens of names to figure out who will be the next star.
While there’s no way to know, one way it to see which players sell for the most in breaks of 2024 Bowman Draft Baseball.
Players to Watch
Jac Caglione: Caglione was the sixth overall pick taken by the Kansas City Royals. The Royals have been able to produce bonafide stars. Bobby Witt Jr. is one of baseball card collecting’s darlings right now. Maybe Caglione is next.
Christian Moore: The middle infielder was picked eighth overall in 2024 by the Los Angeles Angels. He hits and can hit for power. Collectors have their eye on him hoping to see him in the Big Leagues sooner rather than later.
Konnor Griffin: All eyes have been on the Pittsburgh Pirates this past season as fans and collectors have been watching Paul Skenes. They may have a new star to watch in Griffin, who the Pirates took ninth overall in this year’s draft.
Bryce Rainer: The Tigers selected Rainer 11th overall as a shortstop. But he can also pitch. It’s not likely to happen, but it’s always exciting to see if a potential two-way player will take the mound.
Cam Smith: He may have fallen a bit in the draft to 14th to the Cubs and may even be a little old for prospect standards, but collectors are chasing Smith’s cards buying up his spots in player breaks.
Chase Burns: Pitchers have a hard time in prospecting. They usually take longer for their cards to see an increase in value, but Burns is one that collectors are making an exception for. The pitcher was drafted second overall by the Cincinnati Reds.
Braden Montgomery: The Red Sox took Montgomery 12th overall in large part due to the switch hitter showing off his power in college. He’s pitched in the past, which also means he will have a cannon in the outfield, which might create interesting highlights reels.
Cam Caminiti: Caminiti, the cousin of former MVP Ken Caminiti, was one of the youngest players in the 2024 draft. He was chosen 24th by the Braves. He probably has the longest wait time to reach the majors, but prospectors are a patient bunch.
Travis Bazzana: The number-one overall pick is one of the favorites in 2024 Bowman Draft Baseball. Collectors are bidding up his spot in player breaks as they hope to get cards of the Cleveland Guardians’ future star.
