2024 Topps Chrome Update Baseball is out this week. It will include the Chrome version of cards in Topps Update, but with its little shiny twists.

The big chase in the 2024 Topps Chrome Update is the MLB Rookie Debut Patch Autographs, which are all 1-of-1. The cards feature a patch that the players wore in their first MLB game.

Not every player that appeared in 2024 will have one of these cards. The timeline includes players who appeared between June 1, 2023 and May 24, 2024. That means you can expect most of this season’s debuts to appear in Topps baseball products sometime next year.

There are 251 players on the checklist – and as you can imagine, they will be tough to find.

Players to Collect

  • Andy Pages
  • Austin Wells
  • Colton Cowser
  • Ceddanne Rafaela
  • Evan Carter
  • Elly de la Cruz
  • Junior Caminero
  • Jackson Chourio
  • Jasson Dominguez
  • Jackson Holliday
  • Jackson Merrill
  • Pete Crow-Armstrong
  • Paul Skenes
  • Shota Imanaga
  • Wyatt Langford
  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto

Obviously, with 251 players on the checklist, there are a lot more names than that. But these are the top tier that collectors are hoping to hit.

The cards appear in hobby, jumbo, breakers delight and mega packs, but the odds are different for each release. The best chance to hit one of these cards is in the breaker’s delight boxes where the odds are 1:446, which means someone will pull one of these cards once for every 446 packs they open, on average.

The next best odds are jumbo boxes (1:4,985) followed by hobby boxes (1:28,105) and then mega packs (1:336,040).

2024 Topps Chrome Update comes out on Nov. 13, 2024. There are several different places you can find boxes, including your local hobby stores.
